Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-exempt

Summary of the Position:  Clinician is responsible for implementing and facilitating the clinical components of the Chicago Ultra High Needs Program at Youth Advocate Programs. The clinician is responsible for facilitating up to two group psychotherapy sessions a week utilizing the Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) curriculum. Individual and family psychotherapy may be provided to program participants on an as needed basis. Ensure that all services are provided in compliance with YAP policies, federal and state regulations, and with fidelity to the SPARC

Qualifications/Requirements: Master’s Degree in Clinical or Mental Health Field, such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Martial and Family Therapist, or Independent Level Social Worker in the State of Illinois preferred.
• Valid licensure as a temporary Mental Health Counselor, Temporary Martial and Family Therapist, or Master’s Level Social Work accepted with proof of supervision contract with an approved supervisor licensed at an independent level.
• Must be in good standing with the applicable licensure board.
